Denialism, Projection, Religion, and WW2

antiher Well since the Gospel narrative is a version of grace theology then yes Jesus as depicted is considered as a savior. As this notion is neither exclusive or original to the Gospels there have been many saviors documented throughout religious history
Bishadi @ antiher • the only thing that saves a mind, is themselves waking up to what is real.
• greenpeaceRdale1844co Bisha • Denialism prevents that wake up call from being heard, as I have often pointed out.
• Bisha@ greenpeaceRdale1844coop • I never saw the ism to that before
• greenpeaceRdale1844co Bisha It´s a gem from Therapeutic Psychology and addiction treatment, but has become famous around Climate Change. There is also the playful quip, "Denial ain´t just a river in Egypt."
• Bisha@ greenpeaceRdale1844co Oh, so you are using Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) methods of brainwashing a broken mind. What will treat the obtuse mind? WW2 was christian germany trying to create the end times. Will ww3 be required to return the new generation of obtuse fools to get over relying on religion to be good.
• greenpeaceRdale1844co@ Bisha Not at all. You reduce my mention of the field of Psychology to the pioneering and wildly successful, if imperfect, AA even as you imagine you twist it out of shape. Your reflexive and impulsive response relying on part-whole fallacy and attempts to project inadequacy are more of your psychological profile that keeps you going in circles. Sorry, Charlie. Denialism plus. Obtuse? Projection is a trap you set for yourself. Here´s another clue. Plato´s Cave.
As for WW2, what indeed was it? Hitler certainly didn´t go to seminary, and you´re not sounding all that rigorous yourself. Here´s the word from a very thoroughly trained and savvy guy. Hitler gravitated away from religion and embraced wild-eyed nationalist militarism as religious freedom, infant post-monarchical democracy, unhinged mercenary secular German educational sci-tech prowess, and post-WW1 economics fanned those opportunistic fascist flames. That´s empirical reasoning. As for "relying on religion to be good," there are a number of issues you confuse. No Christian religion, and there would have been no modern Universities, Protestant Reformation, Science, nor Enlightenment. Whatever was "substitutionary" about Jesus´ atonement potentialized Christians´ actual personal and joint efforts to new levels as in Charles Martel´s 732 defense and Bishop Raymond´s Translators´ salvaging Muslim library resouces. Meanwhile, Ancient Greek philosophers died out, with the neoplatonists ending up a bunch of narcissistic and complacent lushes. The problem of Christian hypocrisy and church conformity has naturally been pierced by resurgent high integrity flashes that have ended slavery and advanced social movements, with Jimmy Carter´s WH solar panels and Al Gore´s doc film fine examples. Your understanding of human behavior and psychology is sorely underinformed and bitterly misguided. You should do yourself a favor and talk honestly about your personal experience to start trying to get a handle on the distinctions between empirical facts and the nature of interpreting those facts. That´s up to you, however. I can only slay the demons you spit.
